A Local Practice. A Modern Approach.

The next chapter of Mandarin Dentistry began when Dr. Megan Moshea became the practice owner with a clear vision: to create a more modern, comprehensive dental experience while preserving the personal connection patients value in a private practice.


Together with Dr. Kristin Den Boef Shannon, she has built an approach centered on proactive care, open communication, and treatment designed with purpose. Instead of viewing each tooth or concern in isolation, our doctors consider the complete picture—your health, function, appearance, comfort, and long-term goals.

A Navy veteran and Summa Cum Laude graduate, Kayla brings a passion for teamwork, service, and connection to the office. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, giving back, and spending time with her husband, Daniel.

Melanie

Melanie has been in dentistry since 2010 and became a dental hygienist in 2014. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, reading, yoga, and spending time with her husband, Sean, and their pets.

Karen is an FSCJ graduate with more than 20 years of experience as a dental hygienist. She is passionate about patient care and enjoys family time, church activities, and a good scary movie.
